Skills of a Champion

Lucy is a sixth-grade Level 8 gymnast. Gymnastics has always come easily to her…until now. In Level 8, the skills are bigger, and the routines are longer. After Lucy struggles at her first meet of the season, her dad offers an incentive to motivate her. The only problem is that the added pressure at her meets seems to make things worse.

Lucy has all her gymnastics skills, but her efforts to find success at competition fall short. She can’t fight the feeling that there is something else she could be doing to battle the meet-day nerves.
